Join FODS at Hart Energy's DUG East and Marcellus-Utica Midstream Conference & Exhibition December 6-8

Dry natural gas production from shale formations in the Appalachian Basin set new record highs during the first half of the year, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported Sept. 1. https://www.hartenergyconferences.com/dug-east

Install our lightweight entrances in under 30 minutes. Mats can be moved around with a forklift or manually dragged into place with FODS hooks. Each FODS panel is 12’ wide by 7’ in the direction of travel and weighs 420 lbs.

When it comes to the oil and natural gas industry, FODS is no stranger. FODS Trackout Control Entrances have been widely used for sediment control practices on past Marcellus fracking projects and are currently in use on oil and natural gas well projects nationwide.

Increase in production equates to more land disturbing activities and the potential for construction site trackout and stormwater pollution. As a BMP, our construction entrances are highly effective at cleaning sediment from tire treads. Mats are lined with rows of pyramids that deform tires causing debris to collect at the base of the pyramids before vehicles can exit a jobsite. Mats can be maintained in a matter of minutes.

There is no need to excavate or bring in rip rap or stone. FODS can easily be anchored to any substrate for short or long term use.

Configure our mats to meet any entrance detail. Typically a four mat entrance is all you need to meet minimum entrance length requirements (*depending on conditions and regulations). Mats can be placed in a ‘T formation’ for flatbeds and vehicles with a longer turn radius.

The main benefit of FODS is its long lifespan of 10 to 12 years. The mats are made with an exceptionally durable high density polyethylene. The mats can withstand a high volume of construction traffic and pyramids can disperse weights in excess of 80 tons.

Come learn how the new industry standard in reusable entrances can help you with a cost effective erosion solution on your next fracking or energy project.
