The University of Kansas (KU), located in Lawrence, Kansas, which is just 40-miles west of Kansas City, Kansas and home to nearly 30,000 undergraduates and graduate students is undertaking a major $448 million renovation of the iconic David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. Led by Athletic Director Travis Goff, this transformative project aims to modernize not only the stadium but is part of the larger “Gateway District” project which will provide a mixed-use conference center, and high-rise hotel accommodations, along with infrastructure improvements to significantly enhance the student, fan, and support experience.
