FODS Featured in ENR Coverage of Colorado’s I-70 Expansion

FODS Trackout Control Mats were featured in Engineering News-Record’s recent coverage of the $905 million I-70 Floyd Hill expansion in Colorado.

The project involves approximately 1 million cubic yards of excavation, multiple daily rock blasts, a 1,000-foot-long viaduct, 10 bridges, and major realignment work through challenging mountain terrain. Crews are widening and upgrading an eight-mile stretch of highway to improve safety, reduce congestion, and increase long-term capacity.

FODS mats were used on the project to help manage jobsite exits during active construction.
