FODS Trackout Control Mats were recently featured in the February 2026 edition of EcoGeneration magazine. The article highlights how reusable composite matting reduces track-out, improves environmental compliance, and supports eco-friendly construction practices in Australia’s renewable energy sector.
In the article “Yellow Is the New Clean,” JWA Composite Matting explains that track-out control is a critical link between construction sites and public infrastructure, not just a housekeeping task. Traditional crushed rock entrances and wash stations require frequent maintenance, additional materials, and ongoing labor. FODS offers a reusable, surface-installed solution that captures sediment and debris before they leave the site.
The feature also discusses how FODS supports long-duration infrastructure and renewable energy projects by reducing indirect emissions, minimizing road cleaning and shutdowns, and sustaining consistent performance throughout the project. Because FODS remains in place and is cleaned as needed, it helps contractors keep compliance and limit disruption to nearby roads and communities.
We are proud that FODS is recognized as part of the industry’s move toward more efficient, lower-impact construction practices.
