FODS Stopping Mud on I-59/20 Bridge Replacement Project

In downtown Birmingham, AL the replacement of the I-20 and I-59 bridges is expected to greatly improve the commute for Birmingham drivers and be a major win for downtown Birmingham businesses. In fact, this project is the largest highway project in Alabama history. Working with environmental consultant Volkert, Inc. and the two General Contractors Johnson Bros. Construction and Granite Construction, FODS mats are in use as vehicle trackout control system at the stabilized construction entrances.

Check out some cool photos on this rare sub-freezing installation in downtown Biringham. STOP THE MUD!
